Facilities: My home studio, location and office includes a large federation style brick and tile house with all facilities, outdoor entertainmennt area with an orchard and extensive gardens. There is public transport to Fremantle and Perth city at the front door and a hotel and bootleshop within 3 minutes stroll.

Facilities: DSNG6 is a live satellite van based permanently in Perth and is part of a national fleet of 9 which includes HD vans and flyaways. The fleet is a link to extensive global fibre and satellite connectivity. Uplinks, downlinks and capacity are supported 24/7/365 by GlobeCast Australia Teleport & MCR.
Equipment: DSNG6 has a 1.5 metre Vehicle Mount Advent antenna - MkII 1.5 Newswift (Ku-band) with TX Frequency Band: 14GHz - 14.5GHz and TX Gain: 45.1dBi; RX Gain: 43.1dBi; Max U/L EIRP: 70.6dBW. The vehicle is a Ford Transit, fully redundant with onboard generator and vehicle dimensions: 5.2m x 2.9m x 2.0m (L x H x W). It carries 16x4 Analogue Video, Audio, and SDI; Live kit (including 1 x radio transmitter + 3 x receivers, earpieces, belt-pack, camera headset and talkback); 2 x mobile telephone (with high gain antenna) + 1 x satellite telephone, for IFB and comms 4 channel, audio mixer, IFB +Comms talkback unit. Encoder/Modulator/Upcon Type: 2 x Advent DVE4000; Encoding type: MPEG II, at 4:2:0 / 4:2:2. Modulation Types: DVB-S/DSNG. Scrambling/Encryption: BISS mode 1. It is not a large outside broadcast facility, however it can handle simple one camera live transmissions and feeds.
