During 5 years at the ABC in Sydney he edited approximately 100 episodes of G.P., the national broadcaster's award winning medical drama. While taking a break from G.P. David edited 4 episodes of HEARTLAND, a mini-series that featured Ernie Dingo and a young up-and-coming actress named Cate Blanchett. Also at the ABC he edited the pilot series of BANANAS IN PYJAMAS, the kids’ show that went on to become a global phenomenon.
Seeking new challenges, David traveled to the UK where he spent almost a year editing the country's highest rating TV programme, CORONATION STREET, including a climactic episode that attracted an audience of 25 million.
After returning to Australia, David moved to WA and edited the highly successful PARALLAX series. More recently he has edited the AFI Award nominated TIME TRACKERS and has worked in Broome as Editor & Post Production Supervisor on TRAPPED and CASTAWAY.
